We are a family with two children, living near Stuttgart.

In the year 1998 I saw the first Ridgeback.at a dog show in Stuttgart and was immediately fascinated from these dogs, tall and absolutely beautiful! The next weeks and months  I bought all books I could get about this breed and from that moment it was clear that the next dog must be a Ridgeback!

In February 2004 our beloved Lucky died at the age of 12. A half year later we were searching for a puppy. We found Ayoka on the breeders website and we picked her up to live with us in August 2004. Right from the beginning I knew that I want to show her at some dogshows and from January 2005 on I have been to many shows around Europe with her.

Ayoka developed into a nice and stunning bitch with many successes so we decided to breed with her.

In August 2006 Amiri came to join us all the way from Denmark and from our first litter in Nov. 2007 Asilia stayed to live with us at breeders term.

Our kennelname was chosen because we wanted a name from the homeland of the breed Rhodesia (now Simbabwe) . Marondera is a town near Harare and we loved the name at first sight.

MARONDERA is registered since 2006 at the VDH and FCI.
